JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned customer support veteran with a proven track record of providing world class technical support (5 plus years experience).

Prior experience supporting Networks Firewalls (Cisco PIX, Checkpoint) and Web Servers (MSFT IIS, Apache, IBM Web Seal, or IBM Web Sphere) is required. The candidate must be able to read HTML and JavaScript source code. Candidate must know how to configure Web Servers. Must know how to troubleshoot using standard Windows and Linux network tools (SSH, ethereal, FTP client/server).

Ideal candidate would have knowledge of how large web applications are built, deployed and troubleshot. Prior experience using packet sniffers desirable.

Experience with Third Party Certificates such as Verisign preferred.

Candidate must have a strong technical background, proven interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to clearly communicate in both the written and spoken word.

Relevant industry experience or a related technical degree is highly desirable.

Barracuda Networks UK is seeking a well motivated and highly organised Technical Support Supervisor. You will join the busy EMEA team to run the day-to-day activities of the technical support team who provide 12 hour support to customers across the world though primarily in the EMEA region. This will include liaising with the USA support and engineering teams to resolve customer issues as well as managing the growing UK based support centre staff. You will also need to organise the team’s time, arrange their internal training requirements and assist in the recruitment of new support staff.

Experience Required:

• Previous working experience within a similar role.
• A Proven record of interviewing & hiring experience.
• Strong man management experience along with a desire to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.

Skills/Requirements:

• Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix.
